FILL Meeting – All Landlords Invited

FILL meeting Monday night, June 28, 6 p.m. at Casas Las Glorias, on Blairsferry Road just off the interstate — back party room. 
 
I have invited Landlords of Linn County members and the board of directors, along with sending out an invitation to the local realtor association.
 
Please note we will probably have another meeting the following week in preparations for the July 11 city council meeting.  This is important because the city council passed the first reading of the proposed chapter 29 and the crime free lease agreement.  The city wants to make the crime free lease addendum mandatory — it’s a problem.
 
Monday night we will deal with Chapter 29 and the crime free lease agreement first to enable those who have other commitments, who are not flood impacted and who aren’t interested in flood related programs, to leave after taking up the issues related to chapter 29.  We will thereafter deal with developments with LOST, the community disaster grant program, and the Jumpstart program.  These issues are also quite important because of the developments.
