Only six more weeks until the Landlords of Iowa Sate Convention will be held here in Cedar Rapids! Thursday afternoon and Friday, October 14-15, will be two days packed with the latest landlording info, great speakers, food and fun! For those of you who have attended the annual conventions each year, you know you come away with new and vital information each year. For any of you who have never attended, this is the year for you! Meanwhile, our September meeting will be held this coming Thursday, September 9, noon at the Longbranch. Attorney Lisa Gavin, Managing Attorney of Iowa Legal Aid office here in Cedar Rapids, will speak to our group about common mistakes made by landlords, and ways that we can get paid and our renters can keep their housing during these confusing legal times.
