January Meeting

Do you use a written lease?  Have you ever read it, start to finish? If so, do you absolutely understand every single clause?  It is always astonishing how many landlords have never read their lease, or even know what’s in it. You can become an expert on your own lease at our meeting this month.

Attorney Gregory Usher, a civil litigator with Dallas Lynch P.C., will join us on Thursday, January 9, 12:00 noon at the Longbranch.  He will be talking about what’s already in your standard Iowa lease, how to understand and use it, and things not allowed.  He will also cover service and companion animals, including new information.

Read through the lease you’re using before the meeting, and bring any questions you have.  This will be a great program, don’t miss it!

Our room will be ready after 11:30.  As always, we will need to give the Longbranch a count for food and seating by Monday.  Please respond today.

See you Thursday!
