November Meeting

Taylor

We will all have to do an eviction at some point in our landlording experience.  Unpaid rent is probably the most common reason for an eviction.  But do you know the precise steps to get a bad renter out for a lease violation?  Or what if you don’t renew a lease but your renter fails to leave?  Clear and present danger, when drugs or violence is involved, is supposed to get them out faster.  Right?  Even seasoned landlords often run into snags navigating through the eviction process, not to mention the emotional toll this creates for everyone.

Join us Thursday, November 14, noon at the Longbranch, as we hear from real estate attorney Jeff Taylor.  He has spoken to our group in the past, and always provides us with clear and concise direction on this often complicated action.  Even members who have been landlords for over thirty years have always come away with new information and insight after hearing Jeff Taylor speak.  Don’t miss this meeting!  As always, we need to give the Longbranch a count for food and room set-up. Please RSVP by Monday at the link below.

Mark your calendars now for our annual Christmas party, this year on Thursday, December 19, at the Hotel Kirkwood.  More details coming soon!
