How many nights have you tossed and turned, worrying about a bad renter and wondering what to do? And who likes the feeling of going to court to get a past due single parent and her children out of your property because they haven’t been able to pay the rent? Or the disruptive partier who is making all his neighbors angry? I’m sure we’ve all had at least one renter we wished we had never rented to in the first place.
That’s where application screening comes in. Experienced landlords who screen well and decline the shakey applications have a much easier landlording experience. This is by far the most important thing you can learn in running your rental properties.
At this month’s meeting Lucas Hall, landlord, real estate investor, nationally known speaker, and blogger, will present Application Screening Tips via live webinar. Mr. Hall has dozens of tenants, properties in three states, and a profitable portfolio. He is head of industry relations at Cozy and founder of Landlordology. He spoke to our group a few months ago at our Lunch and Learn and was very well received. At this meeting he will focus on application screening to make YOUR life easier.
