+ We will start with a morning “rally” meeting in room 304 at 9:00 am to organize our message and answer any questions you may have.
+ We will stay in Room 304 to meet and greet with sponsoring legislators. Then, we will disperse to lobby our respective local Representatives and Senators.
It’s a good idea to let your Senator and House members know that you are coming to the Capitol. Also, ask them what time would work best for a brief meeting with you.
+ There will be a wrap-up meeting at a downtown watering hole (the Iowa Tap Room located at 215 E 3rd Street, Des Moines) before people leave town.
