We have two of probably the most powerful people in the Legislature. Speaker of the House Paulsen and Senator Hogg, chairman of the Judiciary committee.

 

Checks have to be a personal check; they cannot be from a corporation. Personal LLC’s are OK as long as you can prove that the only members in the LLC are the owners of the property, typically husband or wife. Cash contributions over $10 will need the name and address of the donor. It is less headaches to just take personal checks, makes reporting so much easier.

Our Promise

The Iowa Rental Property Owners PAC (IARPOPAC) is focused on issues and is non-partisan.

The IARPOPAC helps the Iowa Landlord Association (ILA), Landlords of Iowa (LOI), IaREIA and similar associations have a stronger voice in the political process with the Iowa General Assembly.

The IARPOPAC accumulates and distributes donor funds within the guidelines of its mission statement, and the strategic plans of other industry stakeholders with a similar mission.

The IARPOPAC focus is on creating or amending laws and legislation which will be fair and balanced.

The Officers of the IARPOPAC will adhere to the transparency and fiduciary requirements as set forth by the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board and will open its records for review as required by law.
