May Meeting

Inspectionphoto

It has been a while since we have heard from the City Housing officials.  What are the ten most common violations found when rental properties are inspected and how can you avoid being cited for a violation?  Al Pansegrau, Cedar Rapids Chief Housing Inspector, will join us Thursday, May 9, to cover a variety of timely information.  Training classes, who you can expect to inspect your property, what leads to placarding, the appeals process, etc.

This will be a program that applies not only to Cedar Rapids landlords, but everyone in the county.  Be sure to join us on Thursday, May 9, noon at the Longbranch.  Our room will be ready after 11:30, with the meeting starting at noon.  As always, we need to give the Longbranch an accurate count for food prep and room set up.  Please let us know you will be attending by Monday.
