April is Fair Housing month, and we are happy to have John-Paul Chaisson-Cardenas as our April speaker for our meeting Thursday evening, April 10th, at the Clarion Hotel. John-Paul has been the Executive Director of the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission since last fall, replacing Karl Cassell. John-Paul has a great vision for making our county welcoming and inclusive to all. He will also have more details about the Fair Housing Summit coming up on April 23. Make sure you don’t miss this important meeting.
Come at 6:00 for social, the buffet dinner will be served at 6:45. The program will then begin at 7:00. We need to give the Clarion an accurate count for meals and room set-up, so please email us at [email protected] to let us know you will be attending. Because this is expected to be a big meeting, please email us as early as you can, and no later than Tuesday.
All our members should have received an email on March 20th, updating the new password to access the forms on our Landlords of Linn County website. The new password for our paid members only is LOLC1420. Please do not share this with others. Each email you receive from us will have the password near the bottom of the right side of the first page. If you forget your password, you can always go to the “contact” tab on our website and choose “support-website” on the pulldown choices for whom you would like to contact.
