I just filed a Pay or Quit…. When I get a court date and go to the courthouse I need to bring my lease and past rental receipts.
My question is what other documents should I bring with me? Also this is a situation where I haven’t received rent for the month of October. How do I prove this? Do I simply say I haven’t received rent for the month of Oct?
What if the tenant is there and says I did send rent (lie)?
