Do you actually call the prospective tenants place of employment to verify that they work there and for how many hours they said they work?
Also, what is the cheapest way to do a background check? What companies do you use? I know I could manually check with the Clerk of Courts in every county, but that would be time consuming. Also, arrests.org will generally show if a person has been arrested for certain states.
