Many of you know how frustrating it can be to finally arrive at small claims court only to have your case dismissed due to failure on your part to serve the paperwork to your tenant properly, miscounting the days required for service to be completed, improper wording in your notices, or a myriad of other details that could go wrong. Magistrate Mark Fisher will speak to us about common mistakes landlords make in court, and also bring us up to date on the current status of the federal moratorium on evictions for nonpayment during the pandemic.
