April is Fair Housing Month, and we are happy to have LaSheila Yates, Executive Director, of the City of Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission as our speaker for our meeting Thursday evening, April 9th, at the Clarion Hotel. LaSheila was named the Executive Director of the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission back in August 2014 and brings unique housing knowledge to this position from her previous experience as a Civil Rights Investigator and the former Assisted Housing Programs Manager that oversaw the Section 8 Voucher Program for the City of Cedar Rapids.

Come at 6:00 for social, the buffet dinner will be served at 6:45. The program will then begin at 7:00. We need to give the Clarion an accurate count for meals and room set-up, so please email us at [email protected] to let us know you will be attending. Because this is expected to be a big meeting, please email us as early as you can, and no later than Tuesday, April 7th.
Password Change, We do plan to change the password this month for the forms. We will send out more information in the next couple of weeks on the new password and the date of the change.
