Cedar Rapids Area Housing Colleagues,
This email is a follow-up email to my comments yesterday.
Please take a few moments and complete the survey by clicking this link:
Four Oaks in Cedar Rapids is one of five agencies nationally that has been awarded a competitive federal grant designed to directly help children and families who are at risk, or are in the child welfare system, in part due to sub-standard or non-existent housing. The project, Partners United for Supportive Housing Cedar Rapids (PUSH-CR) is the first of its kind in Iowa. There are more than 20 other local social service agencies partnering with Four Oaks in this project. Partners will work to toward safe stable housing, help parents retain custody of their children, ensure child safety and family stability, achieve higher levels of employment and improve family functioning and child well-being.
In order to fully understand the current capacity of affordable housing in the Cedar Rapids area, we are conducting a survey to assess emergency, transitional, and permanent housing options. Please take a few moments to complete this survey; our timeline to complete this project phase is short. Your answers will assist in building a comprehensive, up-to-date database and in planning for sustainability after the grant ends.
If you have any questions, please contact me personally at (319) 784-2040 or via email at [email protected].
