I have a second floor 2 bedroom unit , no elevator in the building. I have an elderly woman who wants the apartment but she can barely climb the stairs! Can I reject her on the basis of “it’s a bad idea to have her going up and down the stairs constantly”? She may fall and injure herself. I suggested that she might prefer a first floor place but she insists she wants this apartment.
