Put the Noon, March 12th meeting on your calendar now, this is going to be a good one. Magistrate Lorraine Machacek will be the speaker this month. She will outline some of the common mistakes that Landlords make in small claims and this usually leads to some great discussion surrounding the eviction and small claims process that we all need to be aware of. This is one of the largest attended meetings so it is very important that we know how many people will be attending so the Clarion can set up accordingly. The Marion Civil Rights Commission will be hosting a Meet & Greet on Wednesday, March 4th at Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center, 4500 N 10th Street, Marion, IA 52302. They will have their meeting at 6:30 PM and then a meet & greet social following the meeting. The newly created Marion Civil Rights Commission invites the community to attend to learn about the role of the organization and visit with commissioners.
