What exactly can a credit report reveal about a potential renter? Will they be able to pay the rent on time? Will they take good care of my property? Will they be a good neighbor to others in the building or the neighborhood? This Thursday, July 11, we will learn how to use a credit report and criminal background check to answer these questions. Learning to read a credit report can tell you many things about a potential renter, including previous addresses, car payments, credit card debt, student loans, and medical collections. All of these things will directly impact their ability to pay you the rent each month. Buzzy Castonguay of C4 Operations will explain why these are all important things to consider with potential renters. Do you know how to interpret nationwide court records and sex offender registries? As you know, these are crucial issues in application screening required by the City, and we must know how to use and interpret these tools when considering applicants.
Join us this Thursday, July 11, noon at The Longbranch. Our room and buffet will be ready after 11:30, and our program will start at noon. As always, we need to give an accurate count to the Longbranch for room set-up and food. Please sign up today for our Thursday meeting .
